This portfolio of student work shows that the student can perform a variety of movements and dance sequences with control and accuracy (WS1, WS2). The student can choreograph using features of a site to influence dance pathways (WS1) and can use choreographic devices including canon and unison (WS1, WS2). The student can identify dancers’ roles (WS2) and explain how the elements of dance are used to tell a story (WS1, WS2). They are able to explain how the choreographic device of canon is used to communicate meaning (WS1) and can describe the use of choreography to communicate meaning about moods and atmosphere (WS2).
