Online safety: Personal and Social Capability

Explore content

Students recognise the unique features of different types of online interactions and mediums, and how these impact on our own emotional responses and those of others. They consider the impact of past and present decisions on people, communities and environments, and develop social responsibility through understanding, empathy and respect for others. Students develop a range of skills and behaviours to recognise and regulate emotions, establish and build positive relationships, make responsible decisions, work effectively in teams, handle challenging situations constructively, and develop leadership skills, in online and offline contexts.
